The Agrarian Faculty held the XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad on the educational program "Cadastre"

On the 24-25th of the April, 2025, the Department of Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology of the Agrarian Faculty held the XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the educational program "Cadastre."
At the opening ceremony, the first vice-rector of the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov Kurmangaly Sarykulov, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs Aigul Naukenova, Dean of the Agrarian Faculty Gulnara Tastanbekova and Head of the Department Gulmira Kenzhalieva made a welcoming speech and wishes for success.
The Olympiad were held in two rounds in the form of a team competition:
1st round - participants performed test tasks.
Round II - the participants defended the project on the topic: «Improving the quality of land cadastral work using geographic information systems and modern geodetic methods».
The Olympiad was attended by 10 teams (30 participants). According to the results of the Olympiad in the team event, the 1st place was taken by the «IQADAM» team, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; 2nd place was shared by the teams: «Cadastre-ENU», Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov and «GeoCad», Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev; 3rd place was taken by the teams: «Bozzhyra», Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after S. Yessenov, «Lady GIS», Kazakh National University of Water Management and Irrigation and «GeOral», West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan.
