The Agrarian Faculty held an Open Day

Graduates and teachers from comprehensive schools, gymnasiums and colleges of the city of Shymkent and the Sairam district, as well as employers, were invited to the annual Open Day held on the 11th of April, 2025 by the Agrarian Faculty.
In her opening speech, the Dean of the Agrarian Faculty, candidate in Agricultural Sciences, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tastanbekova G.R. spoke about the goals, objectives and main areas of activity of the faculty, about the work of scientific laboratories, educational farms "Zhaskeshu" and "Kainar Bulak". Then the head of the career guidance center Zaurbekov T.T., heads of the Department of Plant Growing and Animal Husbandry, candidate in Biology sciences Zhylkibaev A., the Department of Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology, candidate in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kenzhalieva G. and the Department of Veterinary Medicine, PhD Kuzerbaeva A. spoke.
Guests of the Open Day also listened to greetings from the regional sales representative of «Enza Zaden Kazakhstan» LLP T. Karmanov, chief engineer of «Su Arnasy - 5S» LLP N. Sabduaytov, head of the branch of the South Kazakhstan Research Veterinary Station of the Kazakh Research Veterinary Institute B. Lesov and students who studied under academic mobility in Poland and Germany.
The event was attended by more than 140 people who got acquainted with the procedure for the upcoming admission to the Auezov University and took part in a quiz, where they tested their knowledge of history. From the exhibition of achievements, as well as introductory lectures, the participants learned a lot of interesting things about agricultural specialties, received handouts with information about specialties, a list of documents required for admission, watched concert numbers with the participation of students of the Agrarian Faculty.
