This historically significant event was attended by a special guest from Almaty — Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, and State Prize laureate Tynysbek Sharipuly Kalmenov. He is the founder of this seminar and a representative of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling.
Academician Kalmenov delivered an in-depth lecture on “The Integral Form of Coercive Solvability for the Laplace Equation.” The report presented essential scientific findings on the explicit determination of the Green’s function via the Newtonian potential and the explicit form of the inverse operator in the Sobolev space, supported by concrete examples.
The seminar was attended by the University’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs E. Imangaliyev, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs G. Besbayev, seminar leaders Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor A. M. Sarsenbi, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor N. S. Imanbayev, Head of the Department of “Higher Mathematics and Physics for Technical Specialties,” Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences N. M. Utenov, Head of the “Mathematics” Department PhD, Senior Lecturer Sh. Altynbekov, Head of the Department of “Computer Engineering and Software,” Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences S. T. Akhmetova, as well as Professors T. R. Amanbayev, B. R. Ismailov, E. Nysanov, along with alumni of our university from other higher educational institutions A. V. Rogovoy, M. B. Ivanova, and doctoral students majoring in Mathematical Sciences. Within the framework of this seminar, meetings will be organized until the end of the academic year.
It should be noted that Tynysbek Kalmenov is a figure closely connected with the history of the university. From 1991 to 1996, he served as Rector of the institution, and from 1996 to 2004, he worked as Head of Department and Chairman of the Dissertation Council.
