First-year students of the Agrarian Faculty of the SKU named after M.Auezov celebrated the Day of Knowledge with a festive concert

On September 1st, South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov hosted a welcoming ceremony for the first-year students of the Agrarian Faculty. The event officially launched the new academic year and helped the freshmen adapt to university life.
The Dean of the Agrarian Faculty, Associate Professor, Corresponding Member of the Kazakh Academy of Agricultural Sciences (KAAS), Gulnara Rakhimberdyevna Tastanbekova, addressed the freshmen with a welcoming speech. She warmly congratulated the students on their admission, emphasized the high potential of the agribusiness sector, and wished them perseverance in mastering their future professions.
Senior student activists created a special festive atmosphere. They prepared an interactive presentation and a vibrant concert program for the freshmen, which included:
- Sharing the milestones and rich history of the Agrarian Faculty.
- Introducing the freshmen to the heads of departments and leading faculty members.
- Performing creative vocal and dance acts, bringing a joyful spirit to the celebration.
- Discussing personal experiences in scientific projects and student self-governance.
The entire faculty staff warmly welcomed the new cohort. Following the official ceremony and the concert, the students attended curator hours, where they received detailed answers regarding the educational process and class schedules.
