At the Agrarian Faculty of the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov, the International Summer School on the topic: "Innovative vector of agrarian science: modern technologies and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex" was successfully completed.

A large-scale educational event confirmed the status of the university as a major international scientific and educational hub. The school was attended by leading scientists, professors, doctoral students and students from five countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey.

The main directions and topics of the program:

- Digital transformation: the introduction of precision farming systems, the use of UAVs (drones) in land monitoring and robotization of processes in animal husbandry.

- Smart technologies in veterinary medicine: modern methods of biological safety control, including veterinary and sanitary measures in aquaculture and fisheries.

- Green innovations: adaptation of the agro-industrial complex to climate change, resource-saving technologies and greening of production.

During the school, participants attended a course of interactive lectures, attended practical seminars and took part in discussion panels.

Dean of the faculty, associate professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan G.R. Tastanbekova notes that the Summer School not only expanded the professional competencies of students, but also laid the foundation for new joint international grants, research projects and scientific publications. All participants who have successfully mastered the program will be awarded international certificates.
