Scientists of the Agrarian Faculty took part in a working trip to a subsidiary of LIHUA GROUP "Turkestan Cotton Agro-Industrial Complex" in the Turkestan region. The delegation also included representatives of Xinjiang University (PRC), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and accompanying persons coordinating interaction with LIHUA GROUP, a key Chinese partner in the region's agricultural industry.

During the trip, cotton crops were examined, problems of effective water use, modern approaches to farming to optimize processes and increase the efficiency of soil use, as well as personnel training were discussed.
