A curatorial hour was held at the Agrarian Faculty with the participation of a veteran teacher

As part of the Month of science, on the 23rd of the April, 2025, an open curatorial hour was held at the Agrarian Faculty in the AP-24-2k group under the leadership of Turebekova Sagadat, Doctor of PhD of the Department of Crop Production and Animal Husbandry. The event was attended by a veteran teacher, professor D.A. Sydyk; Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan G.R. Tastanbekova; Head of the Department, Candidate of Biological Sciences, docent Zhylkibaev A.K.
The guest of honor was presented by Gulnara Tastanbekova. Dosymbek Sydyk - research scientist, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He graduated from the agronomy department of KazACI. He began his professional career in 1974 at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture named after V.R. Williams. He worked as a scientist in research institutes, and as a teacher at the university. The author of more than 500 scientific and scientific-methodological works. His monographs became a fundamental work and are devoted to the problems of agriculture and crop production.
Dosymbek Almakhanbetovich gladly spoke about his student life, how they studied, how they spent their free time and about the further work of a scientist agronomist. During the discussion, the guest was asked many different questions, in the answers to which new topics for discussion were opened.
