Students and faculty from the Department of Public and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty of Law at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University held a charity event at the Municipal State Institution "Center for Support of Children in Need of Special Social Services in the Turkestan Region." Such meetings are not a one-time initiative for us, but a good tradition. Such events are becoming an important part of the department's educational and social work, developing students not only professional knowledge but also human qualities such as compassion, responsibility, and a willingness to help those in particular need of support. The event participants were warmly welcomed by the Acting Head of the Center, S.A. Sarsenbayev, and his Deputy for Academic Affairs, S.A. Oralbayev, who introduced the students to the center's activities and its educational and developmental programs. They also spoke with the center's staff and learned how important community care and attention are for children. The department's faculty and study group supervisors played a special role in organizing and implementing the event, working with their students to foster a culture of philanthropy and charity among future lawyers. After all, law isn't just about laws and regulations, but also about protecting human dignity, caring for justice, and compassion in action. Events like these help students gain a deeper understanding of the social responsibility of their future profession and understand that true legal culture begins with humanity.
