The 28th traditional Spartakiad for lecturers, professors and staff, dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle, at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, 2025–2026 academic year, was held from 12 to 23 January. The academic staff of the Faculty of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering participated in 7 different sports: weightlifting, volleyball, five-a-side football, togyzkumalak, chess, swimming, and table tennis. Out of the 14 teams that participated in the Spartakiad, the Faculty of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering took first place in togyzkumalak,. The participants who took the prize-winning first place in draughts are:
- YerimGulnazRamazankyzy – a lecturer with a Master's degree from the Department of Standardisation and Certification;
- KaztuganovaGulsaraAldabergenovna – a senior lecturer from the Department of Mechanics and Machine Building. We wholeheartedly congratulate them!
We also congratulate our colleague, YerimGulnazRamazankyzy, a lecturer in the Department of Standardisation and Certification, who won the “Best Female Athlete” nomination! May you reach many peaks, conquer great heights, and cross many passes!
