On February 27, 2026, within the framework of the implementation of the research project AP26101671, “Development of a Methodology for Forming the Professional Competence of Future Foreign Language Teachers in the Context of Digital Adaptive Learning,” the project team together with the faculty members of the Department of “Foreign Language for Technical Specialties” at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University organized an international seminar entitled “New Trends in FLT Training: Digital Adaptive Technologies and AI.” The seminar was devoted to the issues of introducing and scientifically substantiating digital adaptive technologies and artificial intelligence tools in the system of training and professional development of school and university teachers, as well as master’s and doctoral students enrolled in the “Foreign Language” educational program. The seminar was participated by Malaysian colleagues from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, as well as representatives of leading higher education institutions of Kazakhstan. In particular, scholars and faculty members from S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, Ozbekali Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, and other educational and research institutions contributed to the event. Such international and national-level academic collaboration contributes to strengthening academic ties in the field of education, promoting the exchange of best practices, and enhancing the system of teacher training and professional development.
